TrekStor Vibez reviewed

The TrekStor Vibez has been reviewed by Anything but iPod, and the final analysis proved to it to be in the upper echelon where MP3 players are concerned.

Packed with tons of nifty features, superb audio quality, a logical interface, and a virtually bug- free firmware, the Vibez is a great device for the serious listener. TrekStor managed to get it right for almost everyone: MSC vs. MTP mode, file/folder vs. ID3 browsing, 5-band parametric EQ vs. bass/treble slider, open source codecs (Ogg, FLAC) vs. DRM support. No one should feel left behind: the Vibez works for the hardcore Linux hacker and the Windows Vista-toting businessman, for the tinkering sound engineer and the audiophile purist alike. Kudos to TrekStor for following this highly non-restrictive path.

Guess you can’t really go wrong with glowing remarks such as those. Definitely a viable alternative to the iPod nano, despite the latest generation nano having the ability to play video files which could prove the deciding factor.
