Turn your smartphone into a HUD

Bear in mind that this can only be done when dusk falls and vampire roam the streets – an inspired Dopod 838 Pro user decided to run the GPS Speed Sentry software and use it as a Heads Up Display (HUD) in his car, where the sheer brightness of the display mirrors an image that is reflected onto your windscreen at night. Heck, you can even set a speed alarm to beep should you actually drive over the defined limit. While the final result won’t be as refined as BMW’s actual HUD, this homebrew solution is something worth trying out just for kicks.
