
The lazy would probably avoid the Wind-Up Lamp like the plague, since it can only provide light once you have cranked the key around enough times to generate some power. Once the power is exhausted and timer goes off, you’ll have to begin the process all over again or forever remain in darkness. Definitely a great housewarming gift for those who care for the environment – too bad this is a concept at point of publishing. I suppose breaking a sweat in the middle of the night so that you can find your way around is just too much trouble for some people.
