
Chi Lin Technology has developed a new 20″ medical monitor that brings up to 5 megapixels’ worth of resolution (2,048 x 2,560) to the table. It will cater to the medical center niche market and comes with a pocket burning price, retailing between $21,500 and $24,600. Shipment of this new monitor is tipped to surpass a thousand units per month from next year onwards. At this point in time, Chi Lin has already started to ship its new monitor to major factories in Europe, the US, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
