Dell has just made available its XPS 420 desktop for sale, with prices retailing between $1,500 to $2,500 depending on the different configurations within. Each purchase will be accompanied by a 20″LCd display. There will be three models available – “Media Powerhouse” being the entry level version (Intel Core 2 Duo), “Performance and Productivity” occupying the middle (Intel Core 2 Duo), and “Ultimate Entertainment” being the top dog, boasting an Intel Core 2 Quad Core processor running at 2.4GHz. Hard drive sizes range between 320GB and 500GB depending on your choice of computer, with the Ultimate Entertainment model featuring a Blu-ray drive. Shared specifcations include Windows Vista Home Premium, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, 2GB RAM, a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and a 13-in-1 memory card reader.
