DS2 has announced that it is capable of transferring data at a theoretical speed of 400Mbps, which is twice as much as existing solutions. The faster equipment will be backward compatible with the 200Mbps one to let users migrate smoothly.
I’m personally using Powerline Ethernet at home and it works very well. It is plug & play and is more or less the equivalent of having a gigantic cable that spans across multiple levels of the place. DS2 website, Search ‘powerline’
