Google talks to Verizon Wireless

Google and Verizon Wireless are currently discussing the possibility of introducing handsets to the market via the latter which run on Google’s very own operating system software and applications, and a formal announcement concerning Google’s mobile plans is expected to be made within a couple of weeks’ time. These Google-powered handsets will definitely prove to be a worthy competitor to the iPhone that is currently being offered by AT&T. What do you think of this situation? Would a cellphone running on Google’s OS make your life complete? All I know is, searching for your contacts and text messages would be easier when the time comes – I just don’t know how much so.
