The Honda CRX is a venerable sports car of sorts, and word on the street has it that the Honda CR-Z concept will be released as a replacement. This next-generation lightweight sports car boasts Honda’s very own gas-electric hybrid system that achieves both clean performance and a high level of torque. It shares the familiar glass rear end of the CRX profile, and the name CR-Z itself stands for ‘Compact Renaissance Zero’ – an expression intended to capture the idea of a renaissance in the design of compact cars that begins anew from fundamentals. Looks like a real sweet ride – hopefully it’ll able to move into production sooner rather than later.
