LG has just launched its Shining Stone UP3 S2 MP3 player that takes on the jewelry concept, being made out of high quality material as well as a metal body, coming in five colors – black diamond, crystal silver, ruby red, pink topaz, and sapphire blue. Each Shining Stone feature in-ear earphones, support for MP3, WMA, OGG, and ASF files, an integrated FM radio, voice recording capability, USB connectivity, and a 65k color OLED display. It will come in 1GB ($77), 2GB ($94) and 4GB (price is tentative) capacities. It looks more like the front of a clamshell handset than anything else to me – what about you?
