Microsoft SideWinder mouse reviewed

The new Microsoft SideWinder mouse was recently released with much excitement, and many folks were impressed with the list of features such as a maximum sensitivity of 2,000 DPI, on-the-fly DPI switching and extensive macro recording. Unfortunately, this latest iteration of the SideWinder brand will probably disappoint a fair amount of people due to its rather unorthodox button arrangements that will take quite a while to get used to. It is advisable to try the SideWinder before you buy it as it might not suit your sense of ergonomics. Guess a bunch of impressive features will amount to nought if a product isn’t designed properly and looks less than appealing. At £40.77 (around $80), what are some of the other gaming mice recommendations you have?
