The Oppo Super Five PMP which hails from China does deserve the “super” moniker in a way since it boasts support for a wide range of video and audio formats, including RM, RMVB, FLV, DAT, MPG, MPEG, AVI, 3GP video files and OGG, MP3, WMA and WAV and dual-APE, FLAC Lossless audio files. Unfortunately, the 2GB internal memory doesn’t do its compatibility list justice, and the ommission of an external memory card slot of any kind greatly hampers the use of the Oppo Super Five on your travels. This PMP measures a highly portable 87mm x 54mm x 11mm and weighs just 76 grams. You can pick one up for approximately $120 after conversion. Guess this is good for everyday gym or commuting use, but you’re better off with a 160GB iPod Classic on long haul trips.
