Panasonic has certainly gone on a rampage at CEATEC Japan 2007, rolling out three new Blu-ray Disc recorders as well as an equivalent amount of High Definition DVD recorders. The new BD recorders are the DMR-BW900, the DMR-BW800, and the DMR-BW700 with 1TB, 500GB, and 250GB hard drives respectively. Features include full HD playback at 24 fps for theater quality images in the comfort of their own home. These recorders can also record 5.1 channel surround sound broadcasts without suffering from any sound quality or surround effects deterioration, reproducing a perfect replica of the original thanks to the new generation UniPhier system. These new models will debut in Japan on November 1. Pricing details are yet to be confirmed.
