R2-D2 speakers for Star Wars fans

We’ve known R2-D2 to emit nothing but beeps and boops all this while, but the R2-D2 speakers does more than that. This multimedia speakers is based on the most famous astromech droid in the universe, where its head flips open to reveal a speaker. Each speaker measures approximately 4.72″ tall and hooks up to an audio source via a standard 3.5mm stereo plug. You can choose from the blue version or its more obscure brethren, the orange R2-D1. A pair of these licensed speakers will retail for approximately $40 – which is pretty steep considering the performance from little Artoo won’t amount to much. Nevertheless, if you need everything Star Wars, they’ll ship this December.
