Most people frown upon the use of SUVs in getting around, but Toyota has just the tonic for those who hate gas guzzlers in the form of the new fuel-cell driven Highlander SUV. Tests have shown that it is capable of making a 350 mile journey from Osaka to Tokyo on a single tank without having to be refueled along the way. In fact, the Highlander actually went on for another 200 miles before it could not move another inch, and all these were made possible by increasing fuel efficiency, upgrading the power-control system and doubling the tank’s capacity.
