WIA unmanned Microbot patrols the DMZ

The Microbot (despite its name, it is rather big) will patrol the Korean demilitarized zone (DMZ) by day or night and in all weather conditions. Equipped with a sonar and laser sensors, it is capable of going around without bumping into obstacles. If the action is getting hot, it can respond to a threat with a machine gun or a grenade launcher. It is not fully autonomous: an operator controls it remotely (it has stereoscopic and Infra-Red cameras). There are one million landmines in the DMZ, so not having a driver is probably a good idea.
