WM6 upgrade coming to South East Asia

Samsung Singapore has confirmed the long suffering owners of the Samsung SGH-i600 in South East Asia will finally be able to get hold of the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade in that region. Folks in Singapore will have to bring their smartphones to the Samsung service center for a free software upgrade when October 13 rolls around, unlike their European counterparts who can do so from the comfort of their own home via an Internet connection. At least that’s better than nothing in my books. In any case, those who want to pick up the SGH-i600 from next week onwards will already benefit from Windows Mobile 6 pre-installed beforehand. This leads to the question – where is the i607/BlackJack upgrade for Americans?
