The Internet – it is everywhere! That is the case at least, if you bring the Airbox CM3 mobile router with you. This nifty device can be hooked up to the Internet in a moving vehicle via WiFi or an Ethernet jack without requiring any additional software or PCMCIA card – just make sure it is hooked up to a 3G digital cellular phone network. Speeds won’t be that impressive though, as you’ll probably chug along between 400 to 800Kbps, but any Internet connection is better than none. The Airbox CM3 is said to have a maximum wireless range of up to 300 feet, and is powered by your vehicle’s cigarette lighter. It will retail for $499 a pop. Image courtesy of Gizmag.
