Alphascan has just introduced its A5500DS 22″ LCD monitor in Korea, bringing a maximum of 1,680 x 1,050 resolution to your desk along with a brightness level of 330cd/m², a response time of 5ms response time, a contrast ratio of 3,000 to 1, a 3W speaker, as well as DVI and D-Sub connectivity. No idea on the pricing, but this monitor looks better suited for ordinary work rather than heavy multimedia use (read: games).
