Apple Tablet rumor circulates

Looks like there is word about an Apple tablet yet again, with sources claiming that Asus will be the honored party that is helping Apple achieve its tablet PC dream. After all, Asus is currently an Apple contract manufacturer, churning out iBooks, PowerBooks and MacBooks for the masses so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Apple take up this task as well. It is also said that the Apple tablet won’t be based on existing Asus designs, which is a good thing since that might sully Apple’s legendary status where design is concerned.
