Cowon A3 announced

Cowon has just announced the A3 portable media player that will oust the current A2. First shipments will arrive early next month, where the 30GB and 60GB models will retail for $349 and $399 respectively. The A3 comes with a 4″ TFT LCD display that does 800 x 480 resolution, featuring component, S-Video, and composite video output. As for audio and video codec support, the Cowon A3 does not fall short in any way, accommodating AVI, DivX, XviD, MP4, ASF, MKV, VOB, OGM, WMV 7, H.264, MPEG, DAT, and MTV formats – all at a maximum resolution of 1,280 x 720 at 30fps. A video recorder, voice recorder, an integrated FM radio and a radio recorder rounds off the list of features.
