Eclipse, Fresh media players

Packard Bell has just released its Eclipse, Fresh media players where the Eclipse is capable of handling both music and video formats (including MP3, WAV, WMA, MPEG4, WMV and XviD), features a 2.2″ 65k color display, voice recording capability and an integrated FM radio. Its lithium ion battery can last up to 22 hours for audio, although video figures are currently unavailable. As for the Fresh media player, it has a 12-hour battery life on a single AAA battery, features an integrated FM radio and supports the WAV format. The Eclipse will come in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB sizes while the Fresh will be available only in 1GB and 2GB capacities. No word on pricing for the Eclipse while the Fresh will retail between €30 and €40, depending on the memory capacity.
