External HDD gets touchscreen Guess touchscreen is the way to go where gadgets are concerned, with an external hard drive now featuring similar technology. Iotek’s ezSECU ez850 utilizes the touchscreen display as a method to input a secret code for your digital combination lock. Only 2.5″ SATA hard drives are supported at the moment, but it would be nice to see such technology coupled with fingerprint recognition for greater security measures. What next – a PDA-style program stored in one partition of your portable hard drive where you can access its contents from the touchscreen itself?
