iPhone has no voice-free plan for deaf AT&T has decided to do away with its $27.99 monthly no-voice plan, claiming that the offer was generated in error. While AT&T has a fair number of data-only plans for the deaf community, this service won’t be extended to the iPhone plan. I suppose this has something to do with AT&T trying to make as much profit as possible, since they still need to pay Apple a certain amount of dough on each iPhone regardless of what plan the user picks up. How is the hearing impaired community taking this bit of news? Will they do something about the situation so that corporate bigwigs get the idea that it always pays to treat their customers right?
