NICO+ cellphone limited in functions

Who would’ve thought that the NICO+ cellphone in Japan is by far one of the least advanced handsets, featuring standard phone functionality as well as the ability to send email. Yes, you read that right – don’t expect 1Seg TV to come with the NICO+ in addition to a host of other functions such as a digital camera, voice recorder, video and audio playback among others. This targets the simple-minded crowd who couldn’t care less about the other functions anyway. Probably the middle aged and senior folk will find the NICO+ worth a purchase as the younger generation gives it a miss.
