Just when you thought the DS Lite could do no wrong in terms of design, word on the street has it that Nintendo will be revamping its DS Lite in the near future, doing away with the GBA port (what the?!), throwing in more memory while enlarging its screen. I’ve no idea if this is a good thing as the DS Lite has always been an exceptional performer when it comes to battery life, and removing the GBA port doesn’t make sense since some games require it to play. Nintendo has not issued any official comment, but I guess it is time for a redesign anyway if the Big N’s track record is anything to go by. Hopefully we see lots of on-board memory…and I mean lots.
