Nokia goes ahead with new patent

Nokia has had some misses where cellphone design is concerned so far, and this recently filed patent could be yet another one to join the ranks of failed designs. This clamshell device will feature a couple of displays, with one of them presumably being a touchscreen. At first glance, it more or less looks as though an Internet Tablet device has been given a trip to the fat house, followed by a huge crease right down the middle. I suppose sexy clamshells aren’t exactly Nokia’s forte, as they are much better when it comes to designing highly functional candybar handsets.
