NTT DoCoMo goes on a launch rampage

NTT DoCoMo surely isn’t about to let its guard down this holiday season, giving consumers even more choices by releasing 23 new handsets in 75 colors. The 905i series will receive 10 models in three dozen colors, while 13 models in 39 colors are available in the 705i series. The former will be released from November 26th onwards while the latter will miss the crucial holiday season, being available only in January or February next year. The larger 905i series are multimedia powerhouses, boasting overseas roaming capability, HSDPA data transmissions, 1Seg broadcast reception and “2 in 1″ service, which allows one handset to have a couple of numbers and mail addresses. No word on pricing for either line, but DoCoMo will be throwing in an installment plan in order to make it more affordable for the average Joe.
