Oki high-flex hi-speed LAN Cable

Oki Electric has just launched the first shielded high-bending resistance Cat.5e LAN cable in the industry, a development that achieves high flexibility and high-speed transmission for gigabit Ethernet use. This new cable aims to usurp conventional LAN cables that have low flexibility, making the latter difficult to transmit images over industrial internal wiring as well as high-sliding environments found in robots. Oki’s offering, on the other hand, uses a special cable structure with a high-flex design that boasts steady performance regardless of bending burden, making it possible to achieve high-bend, high-sliding and high-twisting performance that is ideal for use in moving parts.
