Planar releases Dome Zx series Planar has just unveiled a new family of high resolution grayscale displays under the Planar Dome Zx series. The Dome Z16 is currently being showcased, and is touted to be the world’s first 16-mexapixel, 30″ single grayscale diagnostic imaging display. This monstrous display will go a long way in helping medical professionals achieve an accurate image representation, faster workflow and remarkable grayscale clarity. Targeting medical applications, the Dome Z16 delivers the richest and most detailed images available, all on a single piece of true 10-bit high-resolution grayscale glass without the split-bezel of a standard dual monitor configuration.   • 750:1 contrast ratio
  • 1024 simultaneous grayscale palette from 4096 unique shades of gray
