It might sound like a big deal, but it’s really not: the new PS3 firmware brings small improvements like customizations, user music and photo lists and most importantly gives your partial control of the PS3 via a Sony PSP handheld console. The PSP can also serve as an “extender” to access media files over the web.
Itcould be cool if Sony decided to release the TV recording feature in the U.S. A music “rental” system would have been a nice feature too.
