These newfangled portable hard drives do not only play processer-intensive formats like XviD, DivX, and DVD MPEG-2 files, but it also boasts an SD memory card slot as well as OTG capabilities. The latter is but a USB port that makes it a cinch to transfer files from virtually any USB storage device directly to the hard drive without the need for a computer. There are similar hard drives such as the one described here throughout Asia, and they are marketed under different brand names with Gemini and Consus being a couple of them. Surprisingly, these portable hard drives won’t hit your pocket too hard with prices falling between the $46 and $66 range.
