Robot cleaner helps guard home

While it isn’t as menacing as a guard dog (you could easily douse it with some water to introduce this vacuum cleaner to Mr. Short Circuit), this robotic vacuum cleaner could help alert you of intruders via text messages whenever it detects motion with its motion sensor. In addition, owners will be able to control it via their cellphone keypad in the same way as a remote control car. Developed by KTF and Yujin Robot, this robotic vacuum cleaner will be available this coming spring, and it will boast a WCDMA model within in order to let you control it remotely via the telephone network. It is smart enough to charge itself automatically whenever it starts to run out of juice, making these the perfect non-pooping “creature” to have at home. There is no word on pricing, but sources have cited that it will fall within the “reasonable” range.
