Sansa Connect gets firmware update

The Sansa Connect is now able to do much more than ever before, including video playback thanks to a firmware update. In addition, users will be able to run an artist search in the Get New Music tab whenever they go through Yahoo! Music selections. Video playback capability certainly places the Sansa Connect in the 3G iPod nano and Zune 4 and 8 category, featuring 320 x 240 resolution at 30fps and MPEG-4 support. It seems that hooking up to the Internet will upgrade the Sansa Connect automatically. How can you tell? The answer is simple – the “Photo” section is now known as “Photo and Video.”
