Sanyo has just released a conceptual robot that will go on sale next year. This robot won’t be there to serve you with a silver platter, but instead will inspect the foundations of homes in Japan for structural damage and dirt. Dubbed the ‘Yuka shita Inspection Robot’, it will retail for less than $8,850. I guess if you’re a landlord, you’d best get one of these in order to check up on structural inefficiencies in order to ensure the longevity of the home (and its occupants, of course).
