Sega Genesis gets portable

While the Sega Nomad was the official portable Sega Genesis, it didn’t really take off in the market no thanks to the Game Boy’s dominance in the arena along with problems such as short battery life (sounds like the Game Gear, eh?). Tec Toy has come up with a gaming portable media player that retails for approximately $100. Powered by AAA batteries, you get Sonic 2 in addition to 20 classic Sega games pre-loaded – unfortunately, there is no way on changing the game roster in there which is a major drawback. After all, by forking out slightly more, I can pick up a DS Lite or even a Sony PSP that have far more engaging games.
