
Sony has released its new VSP-NS7 high definition digital signage player that aims to provide flexible options for creating and controlling networks of displays across a property. The VSP-NS7 is said to offer superior image quality, a wide range of playback options as well as multiple connectivity inputs. Features include increased Flash playback thanks to a more powerful CPU, an enhanced HTML browser, and an additional graphic layer that can showi Flash and MPEG content in a single layout. You get a maximum HD resolution of 1,280 x 720, a five-layer playback capability for BMP, JPEG, web browser, video, and telop source material. The VSP-NS7 digital signage player will be released next month at a recommended retail price of $2,300.
