Synaptics hop onto Android bandwagon

Synaptics announced that it will be hooking up with Google’s Android platform to develop a multi-touch interface for whichever future handset that supports Android. I just can’t wait for the first generation Android devices to roll out – will its collective effort be a juggernaut that will crush Apple’s high flying iPhone? Whatever the outcome, Android ought to show the world that it isn’t only Apple that can come up with the good stuff all the time, and you do pay (a whole lot) more just for the brand name alone for certain items.
