AT&T released the Sierra Wireless USBConnect 881 HSUPA USB modem recently, allowing more folks to surf the Internet on the full HSPA data highway. This works great for those who are using notebooks that lack an ExpressCard slot, and is extremely lightweight at 1.25 ounces. The USBConnect 881 comes with tri-band HSDPA support with full quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity. It will retail for $49.99 (after a rebate, of course) whenever you volunteer yourself for a 2-year DataConnect contract that will hit your pockets for $59.99 monthly. If you just want the USBConnect 881 as a standalone purchase, it will cost $299.99.
