Vodaphone is selling this 3G modem running at 7.2Mbps (theoretical peak speed) that connects to a laptop via USB. It has a nice design and works on Mac and PC. The USB Modem 7.2 is available in the UK with a service contract of 25UKP/mo and there is also a fee of 49UKP to get the modem. The modem will work abroad on compatible networks, but at prohibitive cost per MB.
