Apple readies 13.3″ LED backlight units

Word on the street has it that Apple will be unveiling its slimmest and sleekest notebook yet when January 2008 rolls around after being discovered that Cupertino has placed orders for brand new 13.3″ LED backlight units with production-ready quantities scheduled for delivery sometime in December this year. For folks who are looking for a new and improved Apple notebook but do not yet need one urgently, it would be prudent to adopt a wait-and-see attitude in case this rumor holds water. Many people are expecting Steve Jobs to announce this new notebook in a keynote presentation on January 15th 2008.
