The Mumin Papa Cafe in the city of Akashi, Japan has one unique attraction other than the food. Patrons will be able to sample the underwater restroom that has been built right inside a giant aquarium that houses exotic fish as well as a voyeuristic sea turtle. This sub-aquatic restroom cost the owner a whopping $270,000 (I knew I should’ve been in the food business) and aims to “recreate the pleasant sensation of relieving yourself while swimming in the ocean”. Doesn’t sound too hygienic to do so in the first place, which is why I tend to avoid public pools and take up some other form of exercising instead. This unique aquarium toilet is meant for women only, so smaller sized guys don’t have to be ashamed of being mocked by the turtle while going about their business.
