Chi Mei has just launched its 22″ widescreen LCD monitor known as the CMV228 in Taiwan, giving computer users yet another option where LCD monitors are concerned. Looks like 22″ is already the standard size these days as desktop users clamor for more and more visual real estate. Features of the CMV228 include a contrast ratio of 1,200:1, a resolution of 1,680×1,050 and a response time of 5ms – fast enough to view action movies as well as sports videos without suffering from any motion blur. Each CMV228 widescreen LCD monitor will retail for $275.
