Fuji Xerox has just released its latest prototype color e-ink display that comes in an A6 panel, comprising of a trio of three polymer-dispersed liquid-crystal layers. This doesn’t stop it from being flexible, measuring a mere 4mm thin with the ability to refresh an image in under a second. You’ll be able to write on this thing too, making this a potential precursor to the next generation Kindle.
