Zepto to launch quad core notebook

Zepto has plans to release its quad core notebook sometime next year, but other than the speculated release date, very little or nothing else is known about this rig. Zepto promises that this will be the thinnest and lightest 17″ notebook to date, weighing 3.4 kg. Chances are it will be built on the Montevina platform, and there might even be a high end video card (or two in parallel mode) thrown in for good measure. This notebook will definitely fall under the realm of a gaming notebook, and should cost somewhere from $3,000 onwards in tandem with other gaming notebooks in its class.
