If storage is more important to you than speed, there’s a 320GB hard drive from MCE technologies that might help. The performance is lower because the drive spins “only” at 5400rpm versus 7200rpm for faster laptop drives, or 15000rpm or more for desktop computers.
The real question that I have is this: would you bother to open your MacBook and change the drive yourself? I wonder if MacBook users shop a lot in the after market segment. Finally, there are plenty of other 320GB droves out there, but this one is marketed to the MacBook crowd.
