Microsoft is preparing for Valentine’s Day with its red color 80GB Zune that was inspired by themes of love and sharing, boasting a special collection of 20 new laser-engraved designs. Not only that, Zune Marketplace will see Valentine’s Day playlists that works best when shared with a loved one (or friends, if you’re currently searching for that soul mate of yours). While the color resembles that of love, the price won’t change as the red 80GB Zune will still retail for $249. If you already own an iPod, why not take a walk on the other side of the fence? Perhaps having more folks adopt the Zune would actually see the concept of sharing music take off.
