Acer also jumps onto Miniature Notebook Bandwagon

Acer does not want to be left out of the miniature notebook bandwagon game with plans to unveil 8″ and 9″ notebooks before the second quarter of this year is over. Details will be extremely sparse, although we do know that the screens will be produced by AU Optronics – the same company that supplies screens to Asus. Word on the street has it that these new Acer offerings will be priced below existing Eee models, but I’m not too sure how they will stack up against the new range of Eee PCs.
