AT&T is now offering a SIM card-only option in their online score for just 5 bucks ($10 minus a $5 online discount), allowing you to have your very own AT&T line. This service probably targets those who already own an unlocked handset or an AT&T-locked wireless handset. It seems as though one can pair the SIM card with just about any of AT&T’s current plan offerings, although one still has to tie down their soul to the devil (AT&T in this case) for at least two years (unless you opt for the pre-paid plan, of course). Will this move cause you to head out to the east to pick up those drool-worthy unlocked phones instead of waiting for eternity for them to make an appearance Stateside?
