Dexpreso DEX2000 backup system

[CES 2008] While the Dexpreso DEX2000 might sound more powerful that the DEX1000, there are pros and cons to both sides. The DEX1000 can handle making backups of your data in different discs and formats without having you being there, but it needs to be connected to a PC to do that. The DEX2000 works as a standalone fully-automatic CD/DVD duplication system. It can only make copies of CDs and DVDs (are you thinking of running a bootleg operation from your basement now, matey? Arrrr!) but boasts the advantage releasing the completed disc into the collecting tub in just three seconds – making it a claimed five times faster than other automatic burning machines currently available. There is a removable hard drive housing located below the DEX2000, allowing you to change the content of stuff that you want to back up. It will probably retail between $700 and $800 when it hits the streets within a couple months’ time.
