We all loved Drobo, the multiple, heterogonous drives storage system that can mix and match any types of hard disks to create one logical device that is easy to access. It just got better this morning, when Drobo released the DroboShare, an Ethernet module that turns Drobo into a network attached storage (NAS) to share your files among several users at Gigabit Ethernet speeds. DroboShare costs $199 and Drobo costs $499 – without the drives.
